Tuffy the cat
Over the weekend, Tuffy began having multiple seizures. We thought we were going to lose her, but she's hanging on. She is too weak to leave the sofa, so we take her to the litterbox, and bring her food and water. This morning she drank a lot of water and ate quite a bit of food, thank God.
Hubby thinks Tuffy won't live much longer, and can't see spending more hundreds of dollars at the vet, when we've already spent over $600. So he's going to see if she's strong enough to make it until Friday, and if she is, we'll take her back there and at least see if we can get her on anti-seizure meds. The vet thinks she might have a brain tumor, so hubby could be right about her time being near.

Aww will be praying for wisdom for you two with your cat. Look her symptoms up on google, you might find something that could help you. Usually our pets know when it is there time, and sometimes they will go off by themselves to die, so if she does this let her. Also taking her to vet may be good but may also be bad. You may find out what is wrong and find you cannot afford to fix her(had this happen to me) then sure you will feel worse. Just pray for wisdom, as I will.

Tuffy is up and walking, and ate supper with the other two cats. PTL!!!
Daughter says she must have saved up all nine lives for the end. This is the same witty child who, when she was 8 years old and we had taken in a sick stray kitten, said "Well, Mom, you prayed for a baby boy. You just forgot to say what species."

Just back from the vet. Good news!! Tuffy does NOT have a brain tumor. She has extremely high blood pressure, which could explain everything, and which is far more easily treatable.
