However, i have been feeling much better when i (of course x) ) eat right, get the proper amount of sleep, excersise, and i take an (iron?) vitamin and an vitamin D vitamin everyday.

St. Johns wort? I was thinking about trying that one time but I think I remember reading that you dont know how much serotonin your getting from it. :/
St John's Wort never worked for me. It had absolutely no effect. There are medications which doctors prescribe that can be very helpful.
Everyone is not the same.
Christians in the bible suffered depression. Even Jesus was terrified and anxious before going to the cross, because it was the most terrible thing, and He was also human as well as God. He sweat blood.
Elijah, Moses, and Tamar (among others) all suffered depression at times. Tamar, who was raped by her brother, was said to be solemn and forlorn for the rest of her life.
Those who suffer abuse even today have outcomes later in life which develop through the stressors.
People who had normal or close-to-normal childhoods cannot fathom mental illness; they sometimes even think that it is sin. I wish as Christians that we could come to conclusions where we did not fight and argue against each other. We are all human, and as Christians, God is first before any physical or mental ailment.
All things are possible with God. God can heal physical ailments and mental ailments both. But He does not always choose to do so.
Paul had a thorn in the flesh and asked God 3 times for God to take it away. We most certainly do not know what that thorn was, whether physical, mental, or emotional. God told Paul that His grace was sufficient for him.

We need to remember that sometimes the Lord calms the storm but other times He calms us through the storm...We are not to judge but to Love and support and encourage each other...yes, I have gone through this also..yes we can do the common sense stuff of eat healthy, sleep 8 hours, get exercise and fresh air...and go to the doctor and take the medication they prescribe, it will not be forever but just till this too passes..BUT ALWAYS AND FOREVER He is with us till the end of the age...Bless all of you and the site is wonderful..good job...Please Trust me this will pass..
